When I first came across RipShout, it was the solution to my Shoutcast ripping needs. You can find my previous review here.

Now, after a bunch of feedback and some hard work from Adam Marciniec; RipShout 1.8 has been released.

Although there weren’t significant changes to the core, version 1.8 has the old RipShout seasoned with some handy new features. These include upgrades to the internal player, auto-proxy support, the ability to monitor and delete ripped songs and a sexy new interface.

If you haven’t yet discovered RipShout, your missing out. This app truly is the best way to rip your favorite Shoutcast radio streams, without the crap (or the price!).
